Alex and I made the dessert together. In my quest to use up the food I bought ahead during the shut-in, we used package of brownie mix and sugar cookie mix to try to recreate the first dessert we made together this year. Made in 11 x 7 pan that fits in the toaster oven.
Turned out great! Served with ice cream. It was nice to bake with him again.
We had extra cookie dough so also made a tray of just cookies. These turned out very crisp. DS and DH will like the cookies with coffee during the day.
